| LEE A. PEINDL
Lee Peindl practices in the areas of construction litigation, including mechanics' lien and Miller Act bond claim enforcement, general commercial litigation, business torts, and trademark and copyright. Mr. Peindl is President-Elect of the Gaston County Bar, and a member of the North Carolina (Construction Law, Business Law, and Litigation Sections), and American Bar Associations. He is admitted to the North Carolina State Bar and admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of North Carolina. He served as Chief Editor of Change Order, the North Carolina Bar Association Construction Law Section's publication, for 2005-2006. In addition, Mr. Peindl serves on the North Carolina Bar Association Construction Law Section Council. Mr. Peindl frequently represents construction industry suppliers, subcontractors, contractors, and owners in litigation over construction projects and contracts. Mr. Peindl has also represented various business entities and individuals in actions respecting covenants not to compete, contract litigation, and business torts. Mr. Peindl teaches seminars on construction law issues, especially related to the prosecution and defense of lien, bond, and other project claims. Mr. Peindl is also a member of the National Association of Credit Managers. Mr. Peindl wrote Attorneys' Fees in Lien and Bond Cases (Change Order Vol. 19, No. 3 2005), and co-authored Accidents and Course of Employment (2003 Wake Forest University School of Law Continuing Legal Education). Mr. Peindl graduated from Westminster College (A.B. 1999) and Case Western Reserve School of Law (J.D. 2002). During law school, Mr. Peindl served as Chairman of the Moot Court Board, and as a Student Bar Association Senator. Mr. Peindl is a member of the Order of Barristers and he received the Case Western Reserve School of Law Student Leadership Award. Additionally, Mr. Peindl is a graduate of the 2002-2003 Gaston County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Gaston Program. He serves on the Board of Directors of Leadership Gaston, the Board of Directors of the Gaston County Chapter of the American Red Cross, and is a North Carolina Bar Association Judicial District Representative and Coordinator of the Gaston County Moot Court Competition. Mr. Peindl lives in Charlotte with his wife, Samantha Peindl.
