JESSE V. BONE, JR. Mr. Bone, who has been with the firm since 1991, has two primary areas of interest: elder law and workers’ compensation. As a law student, Mr. Bone was active in the Student Trial Bar; as a practicing attorney, he is a member of the Gaston County and North Carolina Bar Associations and the North Carolina State Bar. His extensive education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UNC Chapel Hill (1982), a Master of Divinity from Duke University (1986) and a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University (1991). Mr. Bone is a certified N.C. Superior Court Mediator who frequently mediates North Carolina Industrial Commission cases. He also helps employers and insurance groups understand how workers’ compensation rules and regulations impact their businesses and provides continuing education unit seminars on Workers' Compensation Law. Mr. Bone’s interest in elder law has played a crucial role in steering Mullen Holland & Cooper P.A. into this rapidly emerging field. As the baby boomers begin to retire, their unique set of health-related legal issues will require the kind of specialized expertise that Mr. Bone is well-equipped to provide. He belongs to ElderCounsel and the Elder Law section of the North Carolina State Bar Association, both of which assist him with the fascinating complexities of elder law. Mr. Bone is married to Robyn Wright Bone and they have three children. In addition to his professional activities, he is a small group leader at Gaston Community Church.Jesse V.
