Education
Mr. Turman graduated with honors from UNC Asheville in 1991 with a double major in Political Science and English. He attended law school at UNC Chapel Hill, where he graduated in 1994.
Professional Bio
Mr. Turman was licensed in North Carolina in 1994 and in South Carolina in 2000. He has focused on Workers’ Compensation Law since 1999 and has been Certified by the North Carolina Bar Association as an Expert in Workers’ Compensation Law since 2006.
Mr. Turman also practices in the area of Social Security Disability and has represented claimants before the Social Security Administration for over 25 years.
Personal Bio
Mr. Turman lives in Tryon, NC. His wife Jane is also an attorney and they have been married since 1998. In addition to practicing law, Mr. Turman is an avid cyclist. He has played trumpet with the Spartanburg Community Band for over 20 years. He also enjoys driving his 1950 Dodge, going to car shows with his father, attending rock concerts with his daughter and keeping a vegetable garden.
