Mr. Cannon graduated from UNC-Charlotte (B.S. Management 2003) and Roger Williams University School of Law (JD 2007) as a Ralph Pappito Scholar. While attending UNC-Charlotte, Mr. Cannon was a summer intern in the Charlotte field office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Role at MHC
Mr. Cannon practices primarily in the defense of workers’ compensation and civil litigation matters.
Mr. Cannon has defended cases in North Carolina state and federal courts, and argued before the Court of Appeals of North Carolina and Supreme Court of North Carolina. He handles complex workers’ compensation cases and liability defense. He is a member of the Gaston County Bar and North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.
Mr. Cannon was raised in Maine and moved to North Carolina with his wife Jennifer. Mr. Cannon and Jennifer stay busy raising their four children here in Gastonia. Mr. Cannon enjoys watching his kids play youth sports and is on the board of the Strikers of Gaston County Soccer Association.
